I used to cram for tests in the hallway outside of the classroom up to the final minutes before class started instead of actually taking the time to sit down and learn the concepts.
I made it through with decent grades but in the hours, days, and for sure years later I hardly remember any of it.
Kind of a scary comparison to life as so many aspects of my days could be seen in the same way. Floating through tasks and checking stuff off the list.
But the moments of my day where I’m present, where I open myself up to listening and learning from life, are without a doubt the best parts of my day. Easy 100%.
Might sound funny to ‘realize’ this but if it was that easy we’d spend 24/7 in this zone of dopeness.
